The 2000 came with a formatter for the HD, you don't need to buy separate programs to do what should have been done in the first place! However, this does mean that you can't easily change the alocation size on the 2000 HD. What you can do is use something like ARC that is on compuserve, it is VERY good at compressing files, and programs will execute from the archive directory. The only catch is that data bases must be 'de-arced' before use, or the program rewritten to use the 'arced' data. I use version 4.3, and it runs fine on the T2K. mikey at bbimg
