There are a fair number of submissions of the things you are looking
for in the old Pascal/Z User Group library.  Most of that library
has been reproduced in the SIG/M library.  In particular, look for
the Z-lib stuff done by Ray Penley.

I know there is some random number generation stuff as well as some
scientific tools subroutines.  If you can't get the library directly,
I have portions.
