(I replaced the 8" 8 meg bubble) The only problem is the 8" controller (early units) only have 10 bits for the cylinder register, so you are limited to about 63 meg. You can modify the 5 1/4" controllers for 8", the early ones even had the connectors already installed, all you do is change the crystal for the clock and to be really correct, there is a choke that needs changed, but I've been told it will convert without the choke. A possible 4 Q2080 drives means 250 meg on a 16!! I wish!! I do have 1 meg of ECC RAM on my system. Unfortunately, it's at 6mhz with the 2 wait states. (The 6000 is 8 mhz with no waits!)
