Thanks for your e-mail regarding the MIDI interface for the CoCo. Sorry for replying via news, but I somehow lost your electronic address. You mentioned that there are three manufacturers selling MIDI hardware and software for the CoCo. Do you have their names ? Addresses ? I'm really new at this game, and had previously assumed that MIDI is by and large RS-232 incompatible, so the Speech Systems product really sounds interesting. I called the local Radio Shack Computer Center and they said that there was NO MIDI hware/sware available for the CoCo. I had resolved to rip apart a game cartridge and try to build my own, using the "USENET guide to MIDI" as a guide. Again, the $40.00 product sounds NICE...DO YOU HAVE THE ADDRESS ? Thanks...ebs
