Actually the price on the Amiga discount is $1295, and you have to 
buy the Amiga 1000 and Monitor together to get for that price.

As for other rumors:

Amiga will be bundling the Amiga Transformer software with the 5.25 drive
for $200.

 or

Amiga will be bundling the accel. hardware with the software and drive to
turn your Amiga into an IBM AT.

I've heard both of these, and don't know if either is true.   We'll have
to see what happens at COMDEX I guess....
