My first was eating the disks inserted. Not really digest it but rather make it like a living hell for the machine to recognize it. Several times I have gotten read/write errors, etc. We use Maxell ds disks. Also I noticed that sometimes by boot workmench type disk spins for well over 30-60 seconds before it even begins to bring the machine up. Any one else??? flipper -- Flip Phillips {ucbvax,decvax}!cbosg!osu-cgrg!flip Computer Graphics Research Group, The Ohio State University
