I went back and tried the Intersect RAM Disk, and it does work - as long as I don't have Mike's Ramdisk on disk at boot-up. This is not too surprising since each is going to try some initialization when loaded, but I thought I tried dropping Mike's Ramdisk before when it didn't work with TOS in ROM. That combination did seem to work with TOS.IMG in RAM, though. I now use the ramdisk from Landon Dyer at Atari, which doesn't suck up accessory slots and installs itself. Something else I noticed was that the first demo in the Abacus GEM Reference fails for me if I have the BICALC.ACC Desk calculator on disk at boot-up. This is a pain, because I like the calculator. I have to wonder why accessories fight so much with each other and with applications. # UUCP : ...!ubc_vision!molihp!robt Robert Thurlow #
