Having tried the 520ST's built-in VT52 emulator with a Vax, I
find that the function and cursor keys send only nulls, and the
numeric keypad keys send only 0, 1, 2, 3, etc.  This makes it
virtually unusable with an editor driven by escape sequences and
the question therefore is: can I program these keys to send
characters, or sequences of characters, of my choice?  I don't
have any compilers, etc., only the software that comes with the
machine.

Any advice would be most welcome.
