In order to get the vt10 squared program to run try booting it with
the fix program resident.  I too have been frustrated with that same
problem after I downloaded it from a local bbs.

I do not know of any other vt 100 terms in PD but chameleon (available
from antic $19.95) emulates several popular terms.  It is well worth the
price.
