The promotion involves several unique combinations of UNIX PC hardware and/or software at savings ranging from $994 to $1,326. Each "bundling" is designed to meet specific customer requirements. For example, a UNIX PC, model 7300 with a 20 Mb hard disk and a DOS-73 coprocessor board can be purchased together at a savings of $994. This would appeal to UNIX customers with some DOS requirements. There is also a "multi-user" package consisting of a UNIX PC, model 3B1 (either 40 or 67 Mb hard disk) and a .5Mb RAM/dual EIA port board at a savings of $1,194. There are several 7300/software combinations for office productivity, graphics development, mainframe communications, and generic software development. There are 19 combinations in all with more planned for the near future. All A.T.& T. Information Systems field offices as well as authorized A.T.& T. resellers will be receiving detailed promotion packages during the week of March 24. The discounts apply to end-users affiliates, and employees. For more information, contact local A.T.& T. offices, authorized resellers, or call 1-800-247-1212. -- Ron Heiby {NAC|ihnp4}!cuae2!usenet Moderator: mod.newprod & mod.os.unix AT&T-IS, /app/eng, Lisle, IL (312) 810-6109 Submissions should go to newprod@cbosgd.uucp.
