San Diego, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Shipboard Computer Group Lines: 14 I'm looking for some info regarding the 3b2/400 and it's speed/ reliability when there are 20-25 users logged in. The bulk of the users would just be idle at the shell but there would be roughly 5-10 using mail, vi, or multiplan at any given time. Has anyone worked in a situation like this? How does the machine hold up? Does it slow down to a snail's pace? Is it a workable environment? Any info you can share with me would be appreciated.
