Both are under $100 mail-order and connect directly to the 64. The HUSH 80 is apparently a thermal printer, 80 columns. The COMREX is said to be made by EPSON. See April 'AHOY!' for ads. Questions I have: Cost of thermal paper for the HUSH 80 and its availability? Can you get paper which prints black (like the Star thermal) ? Ribbon availability for the COMREX and cost? What is the print quality of either printer (lower case, true descenders, Commodore graphics)? Compatibility with C-64 software?
