Ideally, that would be similar to what's available on the Xerox Star (user types romanization, the computer looks up for most likely characters, user selects the right one, or gives more information to disambiguate, etc..). Short of that, sources for bit maps (on the Mac or not) for the characters would be useful. Duo xie.
