I now have an annoying bug to contend with when I boot the system. If the first key I depress is on the keyboard, it is ignored by the system entirely; if it's on the keypad, I go into auto-repeat mode. By that I mean that it appears as if I'm holding the key down continuously. This continues until I depress another key. I believe that there is some sort of problem with the keypad and the new ROMs. The problem exists with new and old Finder and System files, but disappears if I remove the keypad from the system. I don't believe the keypad is at fault since just one keypress per system boot causes a problem. Has anyone else encountered similar annoyances? Does anyone have any suggestions as to what specifically is happening? -- Ron Spizzirri Analysts International Corporation (Chicago) (312) 882-4673 usenet: ...ihnp4!aicchi!ron GEnie: RLSPIZZIRRI
