Well, my favorite attribute-editing program works on the Mac Plus.  Try the
Get Info feature of ResEdit on a file.

By the way, I have heard rumors of extant copies of ResEdit as new as 1.0D11!
Also, I have heard some folks at Apple Tech Support and Software Tools talking
about releasing the source code to ResEdit as a very advanced sample program.
It does lots of interesting things -- at least three tech notes were written
based upon things that were done by the authors of ResEdit.
