Here is the whole story: The 1.2M drive will read, write, and format 360K floppies. 360K floppies written by the 1.2M drive can be read by another 1.2M drive. When 360K floppies are written by a 1.2M drive, however, they are not always perfectly readable on a 360K drive. It helps if the floppy was formatted on a 360K drive. Harvey S.
