I know the hardware works, I can talk to the mouse with my own code, but when I install mouse.sys, it screws up my video if I'm updating at the bottom of the screen and scrolling. I suspect that the mouse is in the timer interupt mode and the long delays of scrolling the screen are causing the problem. If I can't find an easy fix, I already have software that lets me talk to the hardware. I just have to write code to let me get the data from the mouse the way the Tandy drivers give it so as to be compatible and totally ignore all the other video stuff in the mouse drivers. Anyone tackle this or something like it already??? Does anyone have the Microsoft spec for calling parameters and the format for the returning data? If I have the Microsoft spec, then I can make the Tandy mouse work with almost anything that uses a 'standard' mouse. Mike Yetsko trsvax!techsup!bbimg!mikey
