(Think Tank Software) and we have better 90% of our customers running 6000's and 16's with all kinds of custom software. We do alot of work with UNIFY. Developing screens, reports etc. I wish we would band together, the 6000 is a very cheap but powerfull machine if you know how to use it. Too many sites are setup my people that have no idea as to the full potiential of these machines. A very small % of RS salespeople have even a small idea of the ability these things have. I port many sources from machines like VAXEN & PDP's and NCR Towers etc and have yet to run against any real 'limitaions'. Except of course that we don't have 8 Meg primary memory or dynamic stack space! :-) But what can you expect for such a low price? I would love to here about other people and what they are doing with 6000's & 16's. Like George says.. "Lets talk is up out there." Just for fun.. Drop a message off as to how you are using your system and anything else that might come in handy. --Karl ..!ucbvax!ucdavis!tts!root ..!ucbvax!ucivax!tts!root ..!ucbvax!ucdavis!ucrmath!tts!root ..!ucbvax!ucdavis!ucrmath!jarob
