It does make sense if you are spending that much ( $40/week for years) without success and hope that you can buy (access to) love. They claim that they have some millionaires in the club, plus video interviews, parties, seminars, travel ( though nothing outside the hemisphere ) and their own yacht. Personally, I visited one singles bar ( auto accident outside, needed phone ) and prefer finding people at events I enjoy ( ethnomusicology, volleyball, great outdoors [ though it is hard to find the women of your dreams when there is not another human being within 100 square miles :] ). My worst date was at the best quartet concert I've ever heard, so the night was not a waste. "I wouldn't want to belong to any club that would let people like me in."
