Ms. Godiva said something to the effect that his brightness should help not hinder his social progress, etc. I have met Eric, he's a normal guy and fine to talk to. I know why young people who get bounced ahead in school have trouble socially. AGE!!!! If you are 13 and your "peers" are 19, what do you do? C'mon! People in their late teens like DATING. People in their early teens are not as much into that as older people. Also, if you are male and all the women you know are 19 to your 13, you have a (what say) 50% or so age difference. Its a big deal. When I was 19-20, Hell no way I'd go out with a 13 year old. GET REAL! I was offered a spot at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn a year early and I refused. I was in public school (High School of Art and Design) and wanted to enjoy my "childhood" for another year. I still was the youngest person in most of my classes and endured the "AWW, A KID" for the semester I was there. Smarts got nothing to do with it. Timing and luck are key. Look at all the bozos in government. They sure didn't get there by smarts alone! E *****
