I sign Azhrarn to avoid redundancy and add spice. When I first submitted on the Usenet, I signed various literary characters at random, depending on mood: Azhrarn, Grey Mouser, and some others. Tiring of thinking of new names of characters with whom I emphasized in some way, I began to alternate between the first two, and finally settle on the first. I am neither a demon (although a few of my friends say I come very close), nor poignantly beautiful (although I have the right coloring), but the name Azhrarn, and the process of signing myself that way, reflects my capricious nature. Whimsically, Azhrarn P.S. The whole question of whether or not something is "mature" struck me as overly self-conscious well back in high school (where those who considered themselves more "mature" than the rest of us typically had nothing else with which to flatter themselves). If you wonder whether you are "mature", I wish you good luck in "finding yourself". If you wonder whether I am, spare me.
