I currently have an SO that I didn't meet while in college, so I must have done *something* right! When I first started working I was the youngest person there (that wasn't on the cleaning staff :-)) by a good 15 years. I had zilch social life. As corny as it sounds I met my current SO by taking a night-time CS course at Harvard's Extension School. However that probably wouldn't have done it by itself, it was mainly that my roommate asked her if she played DND and would like to come over for a game (look, when a 5'11'' red-head comes stalking into class in a flowing black cloak you have a suspicion they might be into fantasy gaming!). So anyway, taking courses helped. Roommates help; particularly ones that arn't competition and are less introverted - a roomate just like yourself will probably result in TWO people who don't meet anyone. Otherwise I don't have any suggestions, I still hardly meet anyone new unless it's someone my SO knows, and I'm still working with people who all seem to have gotten married just before I met them! -kee -- ...decvax!wanginst!apollo!nazgul This is the Theory Jack built.
