Roskos Friend1: Dropout, real bright though, never took it, now in college, doing well. Friend2: a Chemistry Major , above average SAT scores, but there's a large difference in scores. My family is large(6 siblings). We have really close relationships. (There were very few "I hate your guts!" arguments among us.) Two who don't test really well were a tad above average, four national merit scholars---- So yes, they are a good predictor, but only for people who test well, (not score well, but feel the test is accurate for them) Friend3: Struggled through college, doesn't test well, did poorly on SAT. I loved him for two years, was annoyed by him for two years, fell back in love with him the next year (he could give some people REAL lessons in persistance, writing me EVERY DAY for over a year), and married him 18 mo ago. We're COMPATIBLE interest and intelligence-wise, but you'd never guess it from our SAT scores.
