Andrew and X are window systems for UNIX workstations.
They were developed at CMU and MIT, repectively.
I believe that both have been used on SUNs and PC RTs.
X has also been used on VAXStations.

Both systems are supposedly available to universities
at distribution cost.
I would like to know who to contact at CMU and MIT
in order to obtain Andrew and X.
Have they been ported to other machines ?
What is the complete list of machines/displays
that they work on ?
