I missed an entry for an 8600 running VMS4.1 which shows it to
be slightly faster than the SUN/3, at any rate, I still think
it's interesting and the original point stands (not what I think
people would expect, that the two machines can run this benchmark
neck and neck give or take some compiler technology which I presume
is the difference between the VMS3.6 and VMS4.1 figures.) I strongly
suggest you read the paper for yourself...
