Very recently, we have encountered a problem with dump on one of our 750s.
Whenever dump attempts to read from the controlling terminal, (to ask you
to change tapes etc.), we get the following messages :

   DUMP: fopen on /dev/tty fails
   DUMP: Child 3607 returns LOB status 204
   DUMP: Bad return code from dump: 0

We have not problems with any other software, or with dump on our other Vax.
The dump was, (as had always been) run in foreground using /bin/csh and user id
'root'.

Anyone out there had similar problems who can help me ??
