I have some Emacs LISP experience, though no other LISP experience. As an example, I just finished implementing a floating point package for Emacs LISP, which uses cons-ed pairs for (mantissa, exponent), and implements the usual arithmetic operations plus conversion between ints, strings, and floats. Then I wrote a "calculator mode" on top of it which has a structure that looks like dc(1). I consider myself competent, but not a dyed-in-the-wool hacker at Emacs LISP. However, I am very good at things like editing and proofreading. I have already contributed some minor software to rms (mostly to get GNU Emacs to run on a Vax running AT&T System V). Please let me know how I can help. Bill Rosenblatt Intermetrics, Inc. Cambridge, MA {ihnp4,mirror,ima}!inmet!juliet!billr
