According to the book the Liberty was attacked by Phantoms, gunboats, torpedoes, napalm, armor piercing shells, and helicopter gun ships. The Israel's apparently planed to destroy the ship, not disable it. According to the book it flew an American flag until the Israelies shot it down on the third pass. -- Kenneth Ng: uucp(unreliable) ihnp4!allegra!bellcore!njitcccc!ken bitnet(prefered) ken@njitcccc.bitnet New Jersey Institute of Technology Computerized Conferencing and Communications Center Newark, New Jersey 07102
