I recently ran into 2 different people at Data General who have customized their terminals to require touch typing. One rearranged all of his keys, and the other substituted blank keys. Fortunatly, I had spent 4-5 years on that particular make of terminal, and my fingers still remembered where the various non-alphabetic chars are, even though I have switched to the newer (and more comfortable) model.
