For those of you who've been wondering about the relative virtues
of TP and TCP and have access to sri-nic, read rfc 942, section 3:
"Comparison of DoD and ISO Protocols." It doesn't say anything about
the implementor's pt of view,  but it does say a bit about performance,
capabilities, and such.  Section 4, "Status of DoD and ISO Protocol 
Implementations and Specifications", might also be helpful.
