As I understand it is an object-oriented preprocessor for the C language developed by Bell Laboratories. We are interested in developing a graphics windowing package. Since we are doing development using Unix 4.2 BSD and we have a large library of C software it would be nice to use C++ and still have the use of previously developed software. The use of an object oriented language would definitely help in the design and coding of the graphics system. I assume that C++ has the concept of classes and that it can define the objects state within a class as well as operations permitted on that state. If anyone has any information, like where to get a Reference Manual, I would greatly appreciate it. I would also like opinions on C++ if you have used it before. Please respond by mail since I don't read the news each day. - Ken Fuhrman @ Ampex Switcher Co., Wheatridge, CO {hao, udenva, avsdD}!ascvax!ken
