I use this solution.  It is better than pathalias fudges because then
if the link goes down (or turns out to be as flakey as claimed) you
can take it out again.

I don't suggest using L.sys.  The file should be derived from L.sys,
but allow certain known sites not to be used (as in the flakey case).
