I am starting a new project and thought some of you net-landers might be
able to provide some suggestions.

I am in the market for a large width printer ( > 28 inches ) to connect
to a Macintosh for printing large MacDraw figures.  One concern is cost
( < $2,000 ) although getting the large format is most important.
Software is not a problem as we have already liscenced the source to
Apple's Imagewriter driver.

Our fall-back position is to use a plotter (suggestions welcome here as
well) but a printer is preferrable since not all of the output is graphics.

I have looked at the Versatek line, but the cost is prohibitive.

Any suggestions would be warmly appreciated.  Please respond via email.
