I have only heard of one breaking (we have about 20 on campus). They will send you schematics free -- unless they have signed a "mutual non-disclosure" agreement (or whatever you would call it when neither party claims knowledge of either its own product or that of the other) as they have with Sun. The Sun power supplies can deliver 100Amps of 5V.
