Go read an article in net.micro.trs-80 about TCBUG's
(Tandy Computer Biz Users' Group) 's meeting with
some Shack marketing brass.  It was confirmed that
Tandy is more interested in selling cut-rate PClones
for MSDOS than in Motorola 68000 machines with XENIX.

The Model 6000 (newer Mod 16) will be marketed for the
rest of the year, but support is being cut back.

Doesn't look very good for prospects of bringing
out a CoCo III or Atari-ST class 68K box with OS9/68K.
Tho neither of these notions were mentioned, this
"let's-chase-IBM, the-hell-with-the-rest" attitude
can't auger well for us color types.
