C.S. Dept., St. John's Lines: 26 < and the ultimate question, of life, the universe, and everything, is **munch** Regarding compatibility of various picture formats: DPAINT, IMAGES, and GRAPHICCRAFT files (lo-res) are completely transferable (ie you get the same picture with the same colours). the only thing that might throw you is that IMAGES expects it's picture filenames to end in ".pic". it won't recognize the files as being in the directory otherwise, so if you use both, save from DPAINT as "masterpiece.pic" instead of "masterpiece". minor quibble: DPAINT and GRAPHICCRAFT save their colour cycling data differently, so that, for example, the artificial heart doesn't cycle properly in DPAINT (only some direction arrows move). the champagne glasses yield completely screwy cycling, it looks as if someone is stirring them very rapidly. and does anyone know what the "draw cycling" mentioned in GRAPHICCRAFT is? it seems to be used in the night flight picture, but checking the colour palette it seems as though it's just another range of colours that are cycled. DISCLAIMER: these opinions are entirely the result of my own bizarre imaginings. am i only dreaming that there is an amiga? do the drive doors *really* click when no one is around to hear them? hmmm...
