This doesn't always imply that this software is a black copy. Keep in mind that the librarys of the development kit for instance got also copyright entries. So if you write software under C you'll find a DRI copyright somewhere. I just tell this, because I stumbled over such things when looking into new bought software. Feel free to add your opinions.
