According to people I know who have worked for Jack Tramiel at Commodore, the owner may have the impression that he is friendly with Tramiel, but Tramiel in all likelihood does not share the illusion. Also, in four visits to The Bit Bucket I found their people to be conceited and more interested in talking about how good they are than in demonstrating how good they are. I finally found an incredibly helpful operation located in Framingham, Mass. called CompuClub (617-879-5232 or 1-800-MY-ATARI) - the owner is Tom Graziano, he has been around for a while, and I have found the staff to be very knowledgeable and willing to help. Hours are 11AM - 7PM Eastern. Prices are also MUCH better than Bit Bucket's, and as of today they had a half-dozen 1040's in stock waiting to be adopted. -- Walt Weber UUCP: {harvard,ll-xn}!rclex!walt Ridge Computers Lexington, Mass.
