Lines: 18 What is the simplest way to save and restore a picture using C and GEM? I'd like to be able to save a picture from the screen bitmap on a file, and later have my C program put it back on the screen when I need it. From the documentation I have it is not at all clear how to do that. Is there a library routine, or combination of routines that do that (semi-)automatically? In particular, I'd like the draw the picture with Easy-Draw, store it on file, and later call that picture up in a window I created. Any pointers would be most welcome. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Computer Research Lab | Usenet: {ucbvax, decvax, allegra}!tektronix!tekchips!jima Tektronix 50-662 | ARPA: jima%crl%tektronix.csnet@csnet-relay.arpa Beaverton, OR 97077 | Phone: (503) 627-6159 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~
