Altstadt Could be, could be. I don't think its related to the XMODEM program, since I seldom use capture mode. It could be that the line noise sandra refers to, which I also get whenever I disconnect, might just have a ^S in it. If it did, would this cause the RS232 line to hang? Remember, turning the modem off doesn't do any good, only rebooting. Anybody else have comments/solutions? Maurice T.
