AT&T has announced X.25 for the 3B2/3B5/3B15/3B20 families. For the 3B2
and 3B5/3B15, an X.25 Programming Library and PAD functions are included.
The 3B20S/A has the Prog. Lib. and BX.25 session level services.
The package runs on the ISC card for the 3B2 (same card used for 3270
Emulator+ and 2780/3780 Emulator+) up to 9600 baud. (I have not heard the
results of the 19.2 Kbps testing yet, but the ISC card should be able
to support that baud rate when using only 1 of the 2 ports. If anyone
out there has the results, please share them). The package runs on the
SADL card on the 3B5/3B15 up to 19.2 Kbps. The 3B20S/A package uses the
TN 82/UN 53 card set up to 56 Kbps, the TN 75 up to 9600 baud, the TN 82
up to 19.2, and the UN 141 8 port controller up to 19.2 Kbps.
X.25 for all of these machines is either in Beta or
Controlled Introduction at this time. (3B2 is still in beta). All of
these packages are TELENET and Accunet certified.
