     I'm considering getting a C64.  Can anyone offer me some info on
the following questions?

     1.  Are there any decent assemblers out there?  (If so, what are
             the prices, specific features, etc.)

     2.  Can anyone recommend some good assembly programming books?  (Not
             beginners' books.  I need good reference manuals with examples
             of advanced sound and/or graphics techniques.)

     3.  Are there any double-disk drive units available from Commodore or
             otherwise?  (If so, are they generally more or less expensive
             than two single-drive units?)

     I will greatly appreciate any and all E-mail responses.  The more
specific the better.
