The 8-bit Heath machines (the H 8 and H 89) started life with hard-sectored disk drives. Most Heathkit stores still stock the Hard sectored disks; if you can't find them there, try picking up a copy of Sextant or REMark magazines- they'll have ads from folx who can supply you with hard sectored disks.
