The Installer, which is packaged with the upgrade kit for the purpose of updating copy protected 400K startup disks has some problems. For one, it will not install any of the "safe" systems (3.1, 3.1.1, etc.). The only system file it will install is the deadly 3.0. I decided to try a work-around by overwriting the system file later with the latest I have, 3.1. Do not attempt to use the installer if you only have one disk drive. It took about 400 disk swaps to upgrade my Sargon III disk! I'm not so sure overwriting System 3.0 with 3.1 afterwards was a good idea..... now my Sargon III won't work at all! Beware the deadly installer! Steve Johnson
