McCarron) Organization: MECC Technical Services, St.Paul, MN Lines: 15 We recently purchased several Mac Plusses, and along with them got System 3.0. Why we got 3.0 instead of 3.1, I'll never know. Anyway, I figured since there was this new system, I would put it on our Mac XLs as well. Everything works well, even the caching in the new system (at least it appears to). That is, everything except formatting. Whenever I place a blank disk in the drive, the Mac asks me if I want it initialized, and then it gets a fatal error. What I want to know is, will System 3.1 solve this problem? -- Shane P.
