We've seen that problem here a couple of times. The only solution we have is to read the file in using Microsoft Word. It gets read in fine, and you can then save it text only. -Gadi Friedman@topaz PS. Here at the microlab, we have at almost one student per day comming in with a blown Macwrite document problem. Many of these are fixed with MS word, however, sometimes FEDIT must be used.
