I tried my interrupt key again tonight, and (you've probably guessed it) it works again. Every time! The only thing I did was post the previous article!! I really don't understand. Has anybody else had similar experiences. I should add to my previous message that I tried many things last night: booting from different disks, cache on and off, appletalk on and off, keeper "on" and "off", different Systems and Finders (3.1 and 3.1.1; 5.1 and 5.2). And now - all of a sudden - my Mac bombed (I was trying to get Experlisp 1.04 to run on the Mac+; does it work on the Mac+?), and I thought I'd just give it another try. I wish I could find the cause of this strange behavior. What does it depend on? Any suggestions? The various messages I have seen on this subject, suggest that there is quite some confusion. Does anybody have some more detailed information? -- Eric Mazur _A_R_P_A_-_N_E_T: mazur@harvard.harvard.EDU _B_I_T_N_E_T: mazur@harvunxh.bitnet _U_U_C_P: /----- mazur / /--- _d_a_s_y!mazur {seismo,harpo,ihnp4,linus,allegra,ut-sally}!_h_a_r_v_a_r_d! ------ \ \___ _l_a_s_e_x!mazur \_____ _m_o_l_p_h_y!mazur
