In the S.F. Bay Area Mac User Groups have secured discounts on ROM/800k
upgrades.  The list is $299, and they have been going for $225-$240 in
groups of 10-25 orders.  Not as many people want the SCSI/1 mb. board
upgrade, and I have heard of no discounts there.  

As for new Macs, Apple sold about 23,000 Mac+'s and 9(?)000 512K's in
February.  So the fat mac doesn't look so fat anymore.
