My *guess* is that the tiny debugger can be operated remotely through the
modem port.  When you hit the interrupt switch, it looks for an external 
terminal to talk to?  Although I have a Plus, I don't (yet)  have any mini-8
connectors so I can't try this out.  Perhaps documentation will be in the
'March' supplement.  For now, I'd say the fix is to keep Macsbug installed, 
since it doesn't have this problem.
