For the record my 128KROM/drive upgrade installed last weekend came with
Macintosh Plus System Tools. This contained system 3.1, finder 5.2, Font/DA
Mover 3.1, Imagewriter 2.2.

I assume that as of a week ago, this is the official supported level.

I've never had a problem with system 3.1, and the information I've gotten
is that the problems it has only exist with CERTAIN, VERY LARGE applications.
